Loryn Reynolds
Council Chair
I was honoured to be elected as Chair of Catholic School Parents Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn council, to serve our Catholic School community and support the shared mission of fostering faith-filled, quality education through leadership and support for all children and their families.
I am a proud mother of three daughters, who are currently attending both primary and high schools within our Archdiocese. My journey with CSPACG began in 2021, and since then, I have cherished the sense of belonging and connection it has provided. It has been a wonderful opportunity to support my children’s education while working alongside other parents and carers who share my values and commitment to Catholic education.
In addition to my full-time professional career, as Chair, I am eager to continue building strong partnerships between parents, carers, educators, schools, and our Catholic Education Board ensuring that our council remains a trusted advocate for the voices of families.
I am deeply committed to strengthening cultural awareness and education within our Catholic schools. I strive to promote respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and ensure that every student learns in an environment that values diversity and inclusion.
I firmly believe that when families are actively engaged and present in our schools, our children excel. CSPACG serves as a platform to connect families, share insights, and foster understanding, enabling us to collectively enhance the educational experience for all students. My vision is to see the council grow as a vibrant, engaged, and influential body, championing the needs of students, parents and carers and promoting equality and inclusion within our schools.
Outside of my role with CSPACG, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active through sport, and contributing to the broader community. Through this position, I aim to foster a stronger, more unified Catholic school community where every voice matters and every child has the opportunity to thrive.
