I am a mother to three boys and we live on a property outside of Boorowa, NSW.   I have lived most of my life in rural and regional Australia and we feel very blessed that our boys are growing up in a community with space, a myriad of pets and animals, supportive educational experiences and countless opportunities for sport and recreation.  I completed a Bachelor of Education – Primary, through the Australian Catholic University and have taught in the Canberra and Goulburn Archdiocese for over 20 years.

I have been involved with the Catholic School Parents Archdiocese Canberra Goulburn (CSPACG) Council since 2016 and held the role as Western Region rep and then Deputy Chair. I was also fortunate enough to represent the group on the Council of Catholic School Parents (CCSP) NSW/ACT for two years where I also held a position on the Executive.

I joined the Council as a mum of children attending Catholic schools and with a genuine interest in promoting positive partnerships between children, their families and the school.  I value the significant impact engaging parents and families in their child's learning, has in creating positive wellbeing and learning outcomes for all.

In 2021 I took up the new position of Family Engagement Officer at the Catholic Education Office, this includes the Executive Officer role for CSPACG.  It is an honour to hold this position and I look forward to continuing my involvement with the Catholic School Parent bodies in this role. I am confident that working with the CSPACG Council in this role, provides me with the opportunity to continue to promote this important work and support school communities across all 56 schools.

I love my veggie garden and nothing more than spending time with my friends and family. I hold family, children and education each in very high regard. I’m passionate about families, in partnership with our Catholic Schools, providing the best opportunities for our children that meet the unique needs of all families within our diverse communities.

I would like to see further opportunities for our Catholic Education families to truly engage with their child’s learning to create positive schooling experiences and enhance wellbeing and learning outcomes for their child. I am passionate about empowering parents and families to value the imperative role they play in ensuring positive outcomes for their child which will assist them prepare for their future and the meaningful way in which they can contribute to society.
